Upgrade Notes:

For 1.23.0 and above:

• Just uninstall the older version and install newer one

For versions prior to 1.23.0:

• To retain your old settings you may have to copy your old config file/s to a new directory.
  To find out where the new directory is on your computer, run the program and go to the Traces tab and look on the 14th line, the line that says "Profile directory:", that is the folder your config files should be saved now.
• If you use the "media library / cache" option you should reset it.

I just installed this new version and all of a sudden my "Secunia PSI" detected one of PMS' files as a security threat:

C:\Program Files\PS3 Media Server\win32\convert.exe

"This program was detected as Insecure, it is strongly recommended that you apply the latest security patch from the vendor of the program.

The version detected of ImageMagick 6.x was 6.7.6 while the latest version including one or more security fixes is 6.7.6-1."

False positive or are you going to include the latest version of "convert.exe" from "ImageMagick" in the next PMS release?

Thanks for the report, boarder76. It will be updated in the next version to prevent that message, but there is nothing to worry about. If you really want to you can download the latest version of convert.exe from here

Thanks a lot for the quick response and the link to the latest version of convert.exe. Starting it in a cmd window says it's version 6.7.6-4. However, Secunia PSI still detects it as a threat (I ran another full system scan). I guess this is now a false positive; maybe PSI can't distinguish between 6.7.6-1 and 6.7.6-4 because it's both 6.7.6. Who knows.

Got some issues with installing the latest version - strangely had similar messages on the previous.

The following files had errors in opening during install:
wrapper.dll
wrapper.exe
MediaInfo.dll

Don't know anything about this stuff, but thought I would let you know.

it just means ps3 media server was still running when u installed it open ure task manager and close javaw.exe then install.

After installing mac's 2012 Java update, ps3 media server shows
java.io.IOException: No route to host

and does not connect.
