I still, even woth the latest build, have problems with the same files. I have reset the media library, even removed and added the shared folder. Both files get "corrupt data" from the PS3 and both plays nice on my computer..
Debug and trace enclosed.

ok, hard to follow the log but it seems that ffmpeg does not parse properly the files... reset your media library, and try set the thumbnails position to 0, or better, switch to mplayer thumbnails

Resetting media library did not work, but enabling "Use Mencoder for Video Thumbnails" did the trick.
Now all my files work with DTS and subs. You have made an impressing serverapplication!! You are the man! ;)

I'm getting the "pause because mencoder stopped working" problem allot less with this version but its still there.

It happens at least one or two times while watching an mkv, ( i think it happened once with an avi too). Stopping and playing again continues playback from the part it paused.

In a mkv movie i was watching some minutes ago, it paused 2 times in 20 minutes and i noticed that the PC had an "Mencoder has stopped working" Error ( buffer emptied out some time after that leading to the pause).

On another mkv it stopped only once. I have yet to play an mkv movie with no pause:p

Here is an extract of the .log file right after the pause. (didnt attach it all as it is 20 megs :p)

I'll see if i can recreate the problem and post a fresh debug.log

Thanks for the hard work man.

believe me. my ps3 has seen a new life since I've found this brilliant piece of software.

I now use PMS more than i play GH:WT :) (which means i use it A LOT)

As a bonus showing pictures to family is not annoying anymore.

And streaming my lossless albums is the best of it all.

10thumbs up (yes i'm an alien...)

I'd rather look at a debug.log than downloading the whole file :p

Hey shagrath I actually turned on my PC/PS3 this morning and it started playing the file. However a new problem, the audio was jumping like every 2 seconds. It's remuxing, not transcoding. Wired connection and everything else working okay.

Here is the playback log. I started/stopped the file a few times to see if it would playback any differently.

Thanks

try to unselect the "remux ac3" option

and I think I know what's causing this erratic behavior sometimes
