Mod version of PMS for macos fix mkv sound and ASS subtitles

Hi,

I've made a modded version of PS3 Media Server 1.20.409 for MacOS, fixing some issues that was annoying me:

- Updated version of mencoder/mencoder_mt/mplayer (I compiled and patched to fix DTS sound issue with new compressed header MKVs and ASS subtitles)
- Matroska header compression, fix sound and H264 video issues (DTS also) allowing to play newest mkv files
- ASS Subtitles are working. Even with SRT subtitles, that means you can change color, position, fonts, size, etc.
- You just need to enable the checkbox under: Transcoding Settings -> ASS/SSA Subtitles
- Added an ASS Bold font option on the GUI interface
- I Put back the PS3 Fat image on the GUI interface (mine is Fat ...)
- Video Thumbnails are working when browsing the videos

It is working fine on my iMac, early 2008 model, core 2 duo 2.66GHz 4GB RAM

Can you also post the specific source files you changed (here on the forum or as an Issue on the Google Code page http://code.google.com/p/ps3mediaserver/issues/list) so
a) people can verify the source and compile themselves
b) the devs can (potentially) incorporate some of the changes into the trunk

i'm also having trouble playing the new MKV files on version 1.20.409.

I've tested your mod on my late 2009 imac Intel i5 8gb of RAM, but i couldn't play ANY MKV files, not even the older ones.

Please give me a feedback, i really want to play those new files!

I think the problem was that I didn't include some dynamic shared libraries, I will appreciate if you test it again.

I tested your mod and it works well. The mplayer thumbnail generator works and no issues with fontconfig.

Are you using the multi thread version of mencoder or the regular one?

Oh...i dont know what do you exactly mean but i have multicore action activated

I'm sorry, let me explain with more details.

Under the "Transcoding Setting" -> Mencoder Options
Is the checkbox "Enhanced Multicore support for H264 HD content" activated?

And also, under "Common transcode settings"
is the checkbox "Keep DTS audio in stream ..." activated?
is the checkbox "DTS/FLAC -> LPCM remux ..." activated?

Are you using my second release? Under "About" the reported version is "PS3 Media Server v1.20.409-zia02" ?
