How to get back the Settings window

Hi,

Ich have checked the option that PMS should start without a window and now I want to change some settings.
But I didn't get back the window, I even had tried to place a new copy in my application folder.

I'm having the same issue, deleted the app and installed it again but no luck. Anyone have solution?

Hi,

had same problem.

- exit PMS
- you have to rightclick "PS3 Media Server" under programs and choose "open package" or "show content"(in german its "Paketinhalt anzeigen")
- there you have to navigate to "Content --> Resources --> Java" and open the file "PMS.conf" with an texteditor of your choise
- change line 9 "minimized = true" to "minimized = false" and save the file.
- start PMS and voila

I have the same problem ... checked the PMS.conf file and "minimized=false" was already set!

Older versions seem to work fine ...

I got it back by deleting PS3 Media Server from Applications and deleting the following:

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/PS3 Media Server/PMS.conf

I then reinstalled PS3 Media Server and it worked.

I am sure if someone opens the PMS.conf file in /Users and plays with the settings they will work out how to recover it without deleting.

To clarify ... followed joke17's instructions but did not edit the PMS.conf file in the application package ... instead edited the one as referred to by billythehamster ... Success!
