Files sometimes not visible?

Postby bjoerngiesler » Thu Jan 07, 2010 12:01 pm

Hi,

my PMS serves my files OK to my PS3... most of the time. Sometimes, I only see the ##TRANSCODE## folders but not the actual files. Restarting PMS does not fix this problem, but restarting the PS3 does. The log file doesn't say anything. Has anyone seen this problem before and knows how to fix it or at least what causes it?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Björn

Thanks. What I read from that thread is that possible hypotheses for my problem are:

[*]I'm not in the video section of XMB
[*]The directory depth is more than 8

Both of these aren't it -- I'm in the video section, and the directory depth below the file system root is 3 and below the directory shared to the PS3 it's 1. I also don't get any network errors, and after rebooting the PS3, everything is fine again... More ideas? ;-)
