Help with HD A/V sync.

Postby jsparlin » Sat Oct 17, 2009 9:22 am

Hello, my problem is at about 10 minutes into any 720p or larger file I start getting a serious audio lag behind the video. I have tried different variations of tons of settings and have not been able to solve this problem.

1- I am running a 2.4 core 2 duo Macbook Pro with 4GB of ram on Snow Leopard 10.6.1.
2- I have a netgear N-Gigabit WNR3500 router that I am directly connected too with both with my mac and my PS3.
3- I am running PS3 Media Server version 1.20
4- I am transcoding with MEncoder, TSmuxer.
5- I have attached both the medialink and debug file.

Thanks

Your audio is DTS so why you have disabled "Keep DTS in stream"? ;)

I have tried it with that setting on and off, it makes no difference. I have it off right now because there is a warning of a slight bitrate overhead, so I assumed that would just take up more bandwith.

let's see.... try to disable the "switch to tsmuxer" option. If this is a muxing problem, using mencoder or tsmuxer will produce the same buggy behavior
