Stream .ts files

I've got MPEG2 and MPEG4 .ts files recorded directly using a DTT and DSAT card. I'd like to stream these to my PS3 without transcoding - is this possible? i can find out how to change quality settings but over my cabled network i'd not have thought i needed to (and it puts load on the mac that's not required).

.TS files should be streamed by default....

It definitely streams them but i suspect, from the quality, that it's transcoding them first. Can I change this?

I know this is a fairly immature app so can accept the interface is not as hot as it could be but an install as a preference pane would be really cool (so it doesn't sit as an open, running, app).

By "streamed" I meant streamed as is, not "transcoded" meaning transcoded (which is affected by the quality settings) and then streamed.
If you're truly suspect, you can disable all of the transcode engines and then try playing the file. You can also look at the status window for two things while playing the file to see if it's transcoded: a) a transcode buffer, which isn't used while just streaming, and b) at the very bottom in the status bar it'll have "Serving <filename> [<engine used for transcoding>] [container= <container>] [video= <video codec>]" or something along those lines. If an engine is listed, it's being transcoded, otherwise it's being streamed as is.
