Video Thumbnail-Previews not working

Hi Folks !

First of all : THANK YOU FOR THIS NICE PIECE OF SOFTWARE !!! i love it !!

i have trouble getting the thumbnail-previews working. when defining an artwork folder with jpgs etc. everything is ok.
but when using the "use Mplayer for thumbnail..."-function , nothing happens and i don´t see any thumbnails in the xmb.
what can i do to get this running ?

i´m using the latest release r332 with mac os 10.5.6 on a macpro 8 core.
