.MOV files not reporting sound

Postby rebelscum » Sat May 09, 2009 9:40 am

Someone please enlighten me; I'm at my wit's end.

I have a lot of ripped .MOV files on my HDD that I want to play through PS3 Media Server. All files are the exact same: .MOV h.264/AC3 saved from .MKV via Quicktime Pro. For some reason that I can't explain, the video is performing perfectly, but there's no audio. When I go to Audio Settings on the PS3, it tells me that "there is no audio." I have no idea why this is happening and I'm out of options in the settings pane of PS3MS.

For the record, .MKV and .AVI are working fine. .MP4 works when forced to transcode with Mencoder. Mencoder is the only transcode option on my XMB.

PLEASE HELP!!! Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
