unsuported files

Postby pmos69 » Tue Apr 28, 2009 5:13 pm

Hi,

I have a lot o AVI files, wmv files and mp4 files that the ps3 says are unsupported when selected using the default item in the XMB menu.
But if I go to transcode and select mencoder, they play fine.

I have mencoder with the highest priority in the trancoding settings, and switch to tsmuxer turned off.

How can default to menconder transcoding for those files, or even for all those filetypes?
Doing this by folder is not practical, as some of the folders are part of the iPhoto library.

Thanks.

Use the "Force transcode of extension..." setting at the bottom of the common transcode settings tab.
I provide NO application support via PM or email, so please post your question to the forum per the Forum Rules.

Thanks.
Will try that.

(Didn't even see the misc options before, because they were hidden by the size of the window) :-/
