Fixed issue: Corrupted Data, when subtitles are on

Postby rotem925 » Tue Apr 28, 2009 3:23 pm

Hi guys,
I saw a lot of posts about this issue and i found the problem and the fix:

the problem was that mencoder compiled without the fribidi support.
which means that if you are trying to display subtitles with the firbidi you will get a "Corrupted Data"

so i downloaded the latest mplayer src from the repository and rebuild it.
Please note this was compiled on mac intel, so i don't know how it will work on a powerpc.

i uploaded it so that you can use it:

you need to replace both attached files with the original files that in : \Applications\PS3 Media Server.app\Content\Resources\Java\osx\
http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=146131e437e404930c814df2efeadc50e04e75f6e8ebb871
and please add this fix to the next release.

Good luck

This version will only work on your mac, you need to compile all libs in a certain way so that they work everywhere.

Thanks for you research though, I'll make sure to include this library when I update mencoder :) It should be in the next version.
