Is there any version of PS3MS, old or new, or any workaround that will allow a PPC Mac to stream FLAC (stereo, 44.1 KHz) losslessly to a PS3? That's the only thing I would love to be able to do.

Much appreciated

Any forward progress on building a native PPC version or a Universal Binary? I'd dearly love to be able to run this on my PowerMac. Thanks!

I found this on "Mac OS X Porting" and it has something on "ccub for easy universal binaries"
I didn't fully understand it, but I not a programmer :)

http://www.kyngchaos.com/macosx:notes:ccub

Compile universal binaries by default http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php? ... 5213851279

Hope some of this will be usefull in compiling a ppc version.

I just compile the source and had a quick go.

I used export CXX=/opt/local/bin/c++ub_3264 and export CC=/opt/local/bin/ccub_3264 then I tried to compile some code
it seemed to work but all the dependencies will have to be recompiled first and I didn't have the time right now to do that.

Not sure if this is old news. But, I just installed the "intel version" on my old G4 PPC just to test. And it worked like a charm. I think it did have a problem with transcoding a .mov but, my .m2ts files streamed great.

Thanks

That's just it; none of the transcoder binaries are available for PPC processors.
I provide NO application support via PM, so please post your question to the forum.
