Any chance of an how-to setup a build environment for PMS?

humm, ok. 
Realized that ant, jdk and svn are already present in osx.
no problems building.

Are you sure you didn't install anything else to build?
When I run ant, I obtain a "cannot find symbol" with java.awt imports (Desktop, SystemTray, TrayIcon), with "Arrays.copyOf" and with "PipedInputStream" constructor.
I'm on Leopard, latest java (Java for Mac OS X 10.5, Update 3).

Make sure that you use the build script that is in the 'osx' directory.
