Exception in thread (...) Caused by: java (...)

Postby CathyMacars » Sat Jan 25, 2014 11:36 pm

Hi, I have tried a lot of things already, read the faq's, watched some videos, did a crap load of trying, but still can't get this to work.
So... I recently formatted my PC, and also my Time Capsule, so... New static IP address and all. Before that, I had absolutely no problems with PS3MS. I downloaded it, installed it, and started using it, just like that. Now, no matter what I try, I fail. Besides the new IP address, what also changed it the fact that now, almost all my apps are installed via Homebrew (http://brew.sh). I don't know if that is a problem. At first, I though it was because I haven't installed Java yet (I saw java mentioned a few times on the log tab). So I did (via homebrew). No dice. I saw a message that Homebrew gave about some apps not recognising the Java installation, so I would have to paste some code on terminal here is a screenshot of that code → http://cl.ly/image/473F0a0s2v1O. But still, nothing. I tried changing everything I saw people saying me to change in the General Configuration tab, no luck. If I don't change anything, I don't get the "Exception in thread "background-task-5"" error, it just creates the socket at /192.168.2.1. But if I go to a site like "what is my ip", it shows a different one. So, if I force that ip in, I get the exception error mentioned before. So... Help:

BWT, here is the debug log → http://pastebin.com/uTS2tz4h

Thanks

Follow the FAQ for connection issues - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3507&start=10#p34933
Note that the FAQ says to not force an IP address (except under a very specific circumstance).
I provide NO application support via PM or email, so please post your question to the forum per the Forum Rules.
