ISO/IEC 8859-1 support in filenames?

Postby TinTim » Sat Oct 05, 2013 12:11 am

The only real issue I have come across using PMS on OSX is the lack of support for some special characters in filenames. Is there perhaps a setting that will fix this?

Some of the characters that dont work are: þ æ ö ó í é á

A file with any of these characters will not appear on my PS3 or my Sony TV. (perhaps a sony problem?)

These characters are all supported in filenames in OSX and most other software. In fact I cant think of another software that does not support these characters in filenames. So the problem is somewhere between PMS and my PS3.
