As for the download, i suggest the Mouse one... smaller XD
Anyway, this is what i noticed about Java on OSX: if it's on a 64bit capable machine (at least intel, i have no G5 to test my theory) the last update of a month or so ago gives 64bit Java 6, otherwise it's just a security patch to 32bit Java 5. Also keep in mind that Leopard is 64bit capable.... if you want though, i have a Leopard server so i can offer a debug for that, too. But it's on a 32bit intel...
However, this gives me an idea, since i can force single apps in 32bit... uhm, i'll try it, not going to hurt.
Turns out that forcing in 32bit changes nothing, as 64(or 32)bit Java 5. Aww.
Also, if you do have a 64bit capable cpu go into /Applcations/Utility/Java/ and use the setting one to give more priority to the 64bit Java 6, or to change the order to make tests. It's painless and quick.
