Problems with subtitles

Hello everyone,

I'm totally new to this forum and also to the PS3MS.
I use this software for streaming HD movies to my PS3. Mostly .MKV files.
Now I have some problems with the subtitles. In the MKV files the subtitles embedded, but not burned in.
How can I see those subtitles on my PS3?

I've already tried to change some settings at the transcode menu without success.

Could someone please help me with this problem since I really would like some subtitles with my movies.

P.S. I'm using mac incase of downloading some extra software.

Btw is it also possible to install the PS3MS on an external network HDD?
