sharing NAS

Hi,

Just wanted to rave about how much I love this PS3 media server. Simple and easy to use!

I have a NAS attached to my airport extreme via usb. Great central place for me to store my files.

Is there a way to add my NAS under the shared folders area of the PS3 media server? I can only seem to add folders that are on my macbook / imac.

Would appreciate any tips.

Yes, Mount the volume.

Select Go---> Connect to Folder.

Type in /Volumes

Drag your NAS to the shared folders area

That should work

Where is the Go---> connect to Folder action ?

Select Finder, then look at the top of the screen. You will see "Go"

I have the same issue....Just got my iMAc and when I added PS3 media server and went to the steps to set up thru mac. I go to path the shared folders and my NAS is greyed out and can not select it. I know its connected because I can access all my files on the NAS to the iMac but for some reason the PS3 MS will not let me select the nas for access...PLEASE HELP...Im also new to mac...

If you want i can teamview and try help you, I am by profession a certified Mac technician.

Only thing is i live in South Africa so time difference may be problematic
