Plugin directory?

Postby starfury » Sat Jan 14, 2012 6:16 pm

Hi,
maybe a simple or even stupid question, but I'm new to ps3 media server (and not very experienced with osx):

Where do I find the plugins directory on Mac OS X?
Where do I have to put plugins I'm downloading for pms?

Thanks in Advance,
*

Open the "Traces" tab, it will list the exact location of the plugins directory.
Then quit PMS, place the .jar file of a plugin into that directory and start PMS again.

PMS should then report the plugin being loaded in the Traces tab.

Thanks for your reply.
The output on the traces tab is
Code: Select all
[main] INFO  19:05:27.536 Searching for plugins in /Applications/PS3 Media Server.app/Contents/Resources/Java/plugins

If I understand that right, I'd have to put the plugin into the "PS3 Media Server" application-package file, do I?

Thanks, *

Kind of. It is an invisible folder.
Use the "Go to Folder" command (CMD + SHIFT + G in Finder) and paste the path to browse it.
