Bluray stream not working...

I have large blueray files I am trying to stream (3gb). However, when playing they are super choppy. I dont see any buffer options in the program...is there something I should be doing?

Also, is there a way to stream VLC? I see the option but no settings when I open ps3 server. I have videos with subtitles that I can only turn off in VLC.
I appreciate any help!
