Newbie? - Copying files

I just discovered PS3 media server, and installed it seconds ago... While in PS3MS, is it possible to access a file while on your PS3 from your mac, and then copy that file to the PS3 harddrive? (i.e. copy a movie file into the video section of the ps3)
