Using Macbook Air gen 2 for streaming HD movie

Hi everyone,

I want to use my Macbook Air Gen2 (core2duo 1.86GHz, 2GBs RAM) for streaming HD movie with my PS3 slim. MBA doesn't have LAN port so I have to use wireless connection for streaming. But sometime it's lagging or the movie will slow after 5-10 minutes. And the peak bit rate is about 16MBs.

1. Is wireless connection not fast enough for streaming HD movie with PS3? (cause I did some searching and that's the result of lagging)
---> Do I have to purchase usb to LAN for my MBA?

2. Is it normal that the peak bitrate is about 16MBs?
