Running PMS 1.5 on an iMac w. 4GB of RAM, 1TB HDD, OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard).
Have been running PMS 1.1 and then 1.4 on the same system for a while now. Upgraded to 1.5 today. Based on tips I've read here, increased the PMS Java heap size to 1500 via info.plist. Decided to enable the PMS "Cache" feature.
Manually initiated scan of all three shared folders, which are on a separate 4TB NAS, total of 320GB of video, and 260 GB of audio files. Knowing the scan would take a while and use a good deal of resources, I had already shut down all other applications on the system.
The first crash occurred sometime within the next 30 minutes:
No debug log on this one, didn't have it running. I did save the problem details from OS X, but it's a 30 pg. file that I don't want to insert into this text directly, and can't seem to attach as .txt, .log, .nfo or .pdf?
Anyway, I restarted PMS, and re-initiated the caching scan, this time on only one of the three shared folders. Within 10 minutes, it had crashed again, same message as above. This time, I did run a debug log, but again, it's really huge and I'm not sure how to get it posted here.
If anyone can tell me how to get the crash report / debug log posted, I'll be glad to do so. Meanwhile, I've turned back off the caching feature, and PMS seems to be running just fine.
Thanks, -o
ETA: Attached crash report and debug log as zip file.
