2GB video file copies to PS3 as 22GB???

Hello,

I'm using PMS ver 1.40.0 with Mac OS X 10.6.8

When I use PMS to copy a video file from my Mac to the PS3, larger video files (like HD ones at 1080p) tend to take an extremely long time to copy and when they finish, the PS3 says they are much larger files than they actually are. Example, a 2.5 hour video file at 1080p is approx 1.82 GB on my MAC but when it copies to the PS3 it's over 22 GB.

Anyone know why this is happening/how to fix it? This obviously eats up my space on my PS3 pretty quick.
