Similar here. Couldn't play any file with the srt-file included in the same folder (version 1.20 - 1.40). I tried every version from 1.03 up to 1.40. The versions up to 1.10 support the subtitles, all higher versions only display, that the files are corrupted. To my misfortune versions before 1.20 crashes while streaming the files...

Btw: I'm using win7 64bit, not Mac OS. But maybe it's a genreal bug?!

I had problems with subtitles last night. My version is 1.30.1 final. I took dot away from ASS/SSA SUBTITLE and that helped. Everything worked fine last weekend. Has there been some kind of PS 3 firmware updates which messed up this PS3 media server?

I tried the PMS version 1.40b2 and the 1.30.1 final. Subtitles are corrupting the data and cannot play the file. I was using version 1.20 previously and it was working just fine. However, if I don't play the .srt or the .ass files and just the video file by itself, the video will play just fine.

Please help, thanks.

I downloaded the updated version of PS3 Media Server 1.40.0 and am still having the same issue. The subs for most shows corrupt the files, but somehow the .srt file for another show will show up. I've attached the debug log below. Thank you for providing such an awesome application, I've been using it often and I actually use that more than playing video games or watching blu-rays or Netflix. :D

Before installing version 1.40.0, I had uninstalled and removed the original ps3 media server version 1.30.0.
