UDP streaming help

Postby Tripwire » Sun Mar 08, 2009 1:54 am

Hi guys i have a problem with a UDP stream that doesn't work. I edited the config file like this:

videostream.Web,TVs,{Tests} Kadaka (Kadaka Set-top Box) [mplayervideodump]=nederland1,udp://@233.81.233.161:10294,http://users.telenet.be/ansat/images/nederland%201%20nieuw%20logo.jpg

now the thing is i can see the symbol (jpg) and all but when i try to play it i get "corrupted data" after like 15 to 30 seconds. I know it's working because i can watch it on my pc.

EDIT:

i'm using a WIFI connection to stream and all the files i want to stream work perfectly even 1080p movies :)

Similar issue here, VLC standalone player is able to play just about anything. But streaming a same source urls is an another story, a lot more limited features and/or network hickup failtolerance is very low.
