Parsing 'virtual' folders as part of library?

Postby lot2smile4 » Wed Jan 12, 2011 4:35 pm

Is it possible to parse the virtual folders from the WEB.conf file as part of the media library?

The reason why I ask is that it would be convenient to have all new content in the library under the 'By Date' folder, instead of having to go through all the web folders to see if there is any new content, as this is usually my first point of call when going to the media server, so I can find new movies I have recently added, etc.

Just a thought...

Thanks! :)
Running SUSE 11.3 from the PMServ distro
Updated PMS to SVN version 413 (although at the moment trialling pms-mlx)
Running Java 1.6.0 b20 (latest for SUSE that I can find!)
Rendering on PS3 or Samsung 40C7000

Excellent, thanks for that info... I may give it a try... will this be something that is ever included in the main trunk of PMS?
