I Already Installed this plugin but i'm on a Mac and the plugin system is not working there.
But edited the plist file and added the plugin but i don't think its working.

Log says it loaded:
Code: Select all
[main] TRACE 16:36:27.626 Detected plugin com.chocolatey.pmsencoder.Plugin

Don't know if this is a problem but when I go to the Configuration plugins tab and I click and the button an emtpy window appears:

I Added the following streams in web.conf:
Code: Select all
videostream.T-Networks DVB=http://192.168.1.148/~tim/live/stream.mov

Please Help
Thanks in Advance

It's still not working it shows the stream now but when i'm trying to play the file it says playing unavailable on my TV
Code: Select all
[New I/O server worker #1-1] TRACE 18:57:50.471 Starting transcode/remux of T-Networks DVB
[New I/O server worker #1-4] TRACE 18:58:16.425 Starting transcode/remux of T-Networks DVB
[New I/O server worker #1-2] TRACE 19:03:50.244 Starting transcode/remux of T-Networks DVB

And then it does nothing

The problem is it shows nothing in the log just Starting transcode/remux of Stream nothing else?
I Also Tried This Web.conf:
Code: Select all
videofeed.Apple HD Trailers=http://feeds.feedburner.com/apple_trailers_mrss/720p
videostream.LIVE TV=T-Networks DVB,http://192.168.1.148:9090/1/stream.mov

SmallLog:
Code: Select all
[Thread-154] TRACE 19:49:20.548 Starting transcode/remux of Rango

Both are not working chek logs in the zip file.
Then i Think the problem is my TV?
It's a Sony Bravia KDL40EX711

Thanks,

It's using VLC rather than PMSEncoder. That means it's not picking up:

Code: Select all
engines = pmsencoder,...

in PMS.conf.

The only two circumstances in which I can see that happening are:

  1. PMS is not using the PMS.conf you posted
  2. You are forcing VLC in WEB.conf (the player can be forced there)

To rule out #1, you'll have to wait till someone packages r492 for Mac OS X (that revision logs the full path to the PMS.conf file PMS uses). To rule out #2, you'll need to attach your complete WEB.conf. Note: in both cases, I'm assuming you've followed the instructions for reporting PMSEncoder issues, which a) I've posted multiple times and b) you've ignored multiple times (the last logfile you posted started at 18:56:42. and ended over half an hour later at 19:32:03).

I'm always happy to help with genuine issues, but I'm not going to waste any more time asking you to help me help you.

I'm sorry for wasting your Time
But it's kinda crazy In my PS3MS tab I setted Thumbnail search position at 22 seconds.
But in PMS.conf it says 1sec
I used spotlight inside the application to find another PMS.conf but there was only 1.

This is what I placed in the application:
Image

This is what the config says:
Code: Select all
thumbnails = true
thumbnail_seek_pos = 1

this is my engines list:
Code: Select all
engines = pmsencoder,mencoder,avsmencoder,tsmuxer,mplayeraudio, (etc.)

The config file says its not using VLC force or something

Thanks for your Time!

Yes, it certainly looks like PMS can't find your PMS.conf file. Like I say, you'll need to wait for an update to see which PMS.conf PMS is loading (or wait for r493 to confirm that it's not loading a PMS.conf), or post in the Mac subforum for more help (most Mac users haven't got plugins working, so you may have to answer more questions than you ask :-)).
