Solved - MKV files & data unsupported / corrupted messages

this output is from the movie file im having trouble with, i downloaded the latest MKVToolnix and did like you said, pressed remux, do i need to uninstall the program download another one, older version and remux again?

The latest MKVToolnix is 4.4

I use 3.4 to make it work.

Yeah, devildog is right. The SubJunk build fixes MKV issues

Although I had issues with Red. Had to remux with MKVMerge 3.4.0 Never messed with the subs yet.

Sorry if you got confused. Try uninstalling 4.4 and re-install 3.4. Then re-run the MKV thru it.

MKVMerge version 3.4 or older is always a good A/V software program to have in your inverntory. There is a way to set 4.0 or newer versions to work in the same manner, but the older versions do it out the box.

Well, you are welcome. This was actually discovered somewhere on the net then it made it's way to this forum.....I just relay it as it has worked well for me. As far as PMS guru....far from it. Just average user who has had alot of time to mess with the program and other AV software.

Hope you enjoy the show. Haven't had a chance to watch it all the way thru yet.

Any notion of what options to use for versions of mkvmerge later than 3.4.0? It's turning out to be a bit of a pain to track down 3.4.0 for ubuntu...
