Color issue with certain wmv files.

Hello,

I've just installed the PS3 Media Server this evening and im having some issues with some WMV files.
Upon playing the videos on the PS3 they show as Black and white with some 'greenish' shadows.

When i play them on the PC they are fine, and also if i copy the file to the PS3 the little 'preview' shows colours, but black/white when actually playing them.

Does anyone have a slight clue on might be wrong? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Im completely new to using a PS3 and streaming, so i dont know anything. I have searched google for nearly 2 hours without resulst, so i figured i'd ask here.

Would like to know the answer too, as I have similar problems with only some dvd rips.

However, try using tsmuxer rather than mencoder - I think the PS3 can handle WMVs and using it solves my problem, but would like to know why using mencoder doesn't work properly!
