Avisynth not working properly

Hi, i can transcode videos with MEncoder fine, but when I try to play videos with AviSynth/MEncoder and AviSynth/FFmpeg, the moment I load up the video is stays at a black screen.

I have installed AviSynth, and CoreAVC and CCCP.

Is their a log file I can trace to see what the problem is?
