Audio and video out of sync (iso)

When Im trying to stream .iso (dvd img) to my PS3 the audio and video is out of sync.

I have tried changing "A/V sync alternativemethod" and the "Remux when audio track is AC3" options with no luck.
Is there an way to correct this sync problem. The timing is just a little bit off. less than 1 sec but very anoying.

When playing .mkv the sync i perfect, and everything works flawless.


Im using a gigabit connection. Computer specs are: Q6600@3,2 4Gb RAM, GA-P35-DS3R, HD4870.

EDIT: Im using PS3 Media Server 1.04. Also tried the v1.00 but the issue is the same.

make sure, in "expert settings", than the "use application default codecs parameters" option is checked

Yepp, that option is checked.

The only options that is changed from default is the numbers of cores im using for transcoding and the number of audiochannels set under "common transcode settings". Tried changing these back and fourth but still not better.
So, I basicly run the program all by default. Install and run, nothing else.

It happens with all that I have tried.
Been testing different combinations of settings (MEncoder) and sometimes I think I see a slight improvement in some isos but not all.
"Force framerate pased from..." seemed to improve the sync on some but Im not sure.
Im curious, is there anyone else with sync issues when playing .iso (.img)?

The isnt anything else I need to install to get the program running as i should, is it?

Same problem here, and only with .ISO. .avi and .mkv works perfect.
And problem is with every .ISO. Tried other versions too and running default settings.

now that you mention it, i have been seeing all of my iso's stutter, and the sync is off, we have watched:

babys mama
eagle eye

and a lot of others and they do not sync up, and you can see the pixelation a lot more as well also kinda of a lag,

not in version 1 though, version 1 was the best for me so far,

i might go back to version 1 until the next version comes out.

I have been streaming DVD ISO without issues.
Default settings, AC-3 via TosLink to my 5.1 amp.
A few ISO's show minor stutter while the buffer is filling (for the first 10 seconds or so), but nothing worth noting.

PMS running on AMDx64 x2 at about 10-20% CPU, gigabit network.
