Still a question here, PMS says: no renderers found.
Must be something small, but can't figure it out...

By the way, internet works over the cable, he finds IP and everything, just the pms doesn't work.

My settings:
mac snow leopard
ethernet: manually
ip 10.1.1.1
sub 255.255.255.0
router blank
DNS 10.1.1.1

PS3
wired connection
ip 10.1.1.2
sub 255.255.255.0
router 10.1.1.2
primairy dns 192.168.2.1
sec dns 192.168.2.1

In pms i checked the force default renderer and I selected the right item in the list.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
Brent

UPDATE

Now the PMS works with the cable, but the internet not anymore. And the internet sharing over cable is still selected on the mac.

I had the same issue and after a little thought realised that UPnP is disabled by default on public networks.
Try opening your network and sharing center and make sure network discovery is on.
Again, in network and sharing center (or its equivalent), locate the wired connection, customise, set as private.

Worked for me. Let me know how you go.
