can't see avi/mkv files on netwerk hd

Hello,

I use PS3 Media Server with pleasure for a day now. Fantastic piece of software! But I'm facing one problem: I can not see .avi (or mpg, mkv) files that are on my network HD while I can see and play dvd's. Furthermore, I can see and play the .avi files directly from my laptop HD.

not working: AVI/MKV/MPG on network HD --> laptop (PMS) --> PS3
working: AVI/MKV/MPG laptop HD --> PS3

Anyone an idea?

Solved it. Stupid mistake. Apparently the files attributes were hidden.
