Subtitles Stopped Working

Postby kickalillas » Mon Sep 14, 2009 9:30 pm

Been running version 1.10.51 for a long time now with absolutely no problems. Mkv’s would decode with the correct audio/subtitles [audio:jap, sub:eng], however recently my videos stopped displaying subtitles. I haven’t changed any settings within PMS, they simply just stopped working. I would assume that this problem may have been caused by upgrading my PS3 to FW 3.00. Anyone else having this problem or know how to solve it.

PC's spec: Windows vista, intel e8400, 2GB ram, wifi

seems the subtitle track is recognized and put in the .avs file... at this time, it's out of the reach of the server, it's your codec pack which displaying the sub tracks on the video

basic test: while playing your video, go into your temp folder, sub directory "javaps3media", you should see an .avs file there, try to play it, or open it with notepad to check if the sub track is correctly written in there
