I'm having the exact same problem as the last post.

I've ripped 1.5TB of DVDs into Video_TS folders. I'd love to get dvd covers to show up on the xmb when i browse the folder.
For example, I have folder on a drive called DVD Library. Here's an example:

I've tried naming the cover just about everything, and stuck it about everywhere (no pun intended).
Can someone throw me a bone?

I create one large video file and name it accordingly with the cover art. Works great.

Right, I get that, I'm trying to avoid having to reprocess over 200 movies. I also would prefer to keep then in their natural form. Thanks for the response though.
It may not even be supported. Does anyone know if it's coming down the pipeline?

You need to figure out which VOB is the beginning of the DVD. I always have a difficult time telling, plus the wife did not like seeing all the extra files on the XMB thats why I use one large file. But either way will work.

You can keep your native format and VOB file type.

Example:

VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_01.VOB.cover.jpg

Good Luck

Thanks, I'll try that when I get home. Just curious if anyone else can confirm that. I trust the theory, but I've tried playing with the name and location so many times, I think I may have tried this. I'll gladly try it again.

I think I'm still doomed because of the way my file structure is. (which it totally my fault) I have a feeling I won't see the cover until after I click into to movie title on XMB. Shenanigans on the PS3 for not having this in mind ;)

BTW, cheers to the creator of this proggy.

Didn't work... as a test, this is what I did.

Each pic is a little different, so I'd know which one to use. Still nothing. I think I'm dead anyway because i still have to click DVD Library, the movie title, then video TS, then on the transcoded iso. I would want the cover to show BEFORE I got to the video_ts folder. I think what I need to work is the folder.jpg. I tried putting that in the root with the video ts folder, and it still didn't pick anything up.

At this point, am I just wasting my time?

After looking at it, I'm going to try to match case of the file. I see that I didn't do that. I'll post results.

Sweet - Thanks.

I did try matching case, and it still died.
