Small Bug with folder naming

Postby ghost5 » Sat Jan 31, 2009 11:49 am

Hi,

firstly thanks for a great program...

I have noticed that if you have a folder with a '.' in it's name, it will not show any characters after the '.' on the PS3 -

I have the folder 'Mrs. Doubtfire', which only shows up as 'Mrs'
I got rid of the '.' and it appears as Mrs Doubtfire

I tried this with a few other video folders and I got the same results.

but it does seem to read the data that's not shown and keep the folders in order

Seems to be a problem when you have the "hide file extensions" option set. If a folder name contains a period then anything after that gets truncated. There's an easy one-line fix, I'll post a patch later; until then the workaround is to display your file extensions.
