"PS3 has not been found" error - help.

I just installed the PMS, was very excited to try it out. I had been using the Nero Media Home (trial), without issue, and was curious to see the PMS in action.
I fully exited the Nero Home, and then turned on the PMS, it said trying to connect to PS3, but then that the "PS3 has not been found".
I followed the initial instructions re: UPnP (http://www.bitwiseim.com/wiki/index.php ... Windows_XP

any idea?
My setup is a wired router feeding the PC and a switch , the PS3 is connected to the switch.
(as mentioned this is the setup I used with Nero)
any help is appreciated.
