I am using HDMI and have enabled all 2CH PCM options. I am just not sure what is being sent to my Receiver. I will have to see if there is a way for me to find out more about the signal being processed.

The 3.0 Firmware implemented 44.1kHz playback for streamed mp3's.

BUT if you want to do something else while playing music (browse XMB), you have to stay @ 48kHz

"I realized that if i had my Output Frequency (Settings>Music>Output Frequency) set to anything other than 48kHz then i can't browse the XMB while playing music. But it works fine at 48kHz."
