PS3 Media Server as a SERVICE

Postby jbrines » Fri Jan 30, 2009 12:07 am

Guys,

I have setup P3 Media Server as a service but when I launch the PS3 Media Server application to configure it, it tells me that it cannot connect to the PS3.

On the PS3 it does see the PS3 Media Server but when I add folders to the library they don't show up.

How can I configure the PS3 Media Server when it is running as a server.

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.

Chees

Start PMS, configure it, save changes, QUIT this GUI and RESTART PMS SERVICE to take effect.
Service is independent from GUI so if you change something you need to restart service.

Just figured it out. I had TVersity as a service and it was running and causing issues.

Now working.

Now the settings aren't being saved!

I have added a few folders but they aren't being retained!

Any ideas?
