Media server (PMS) not found in XMB

Postby tripmitz » Mon Jul 13, 2009 11:29 pm

Hi,
Have been having some issues: The PS3 is found in the active media server, however XMB cannot find PMS.
I am running Windows XP Pro x64. I can ping the PS3 and have enabled the UPnP Framework, have SSDP running and enabled exceptions within the Windows firewall for Java(TM) Platform SE binary, and PS3 Media Server. However, still can't get the the PS3 to see the PMS.

Any suggestions or fixes? Cheers.

Some hardware details:
Lenovo T60 C2D, 2.0Ghz, 3Gb RAM, Intel3945 ABG wireless
Router: DLink DI-524

I get the exact same issue, probably something to do with uPNP or router settings but haven't found a solution
