first of all, PS3MediaServer works great. thanks for that!
But, as some of you people may have noticed some XVid files wont play, neither on PS3 directly (via USB Stick or from CD) nor via media server, hence they gotta be transcoded so "unsupported media type" wont show.
How do I tell PS3Mediaserver to do so?

Update PS3 to the latest version v2.60 or use #Transcode# folder and choose video with [MEncoder] in name

My PS3 has the latest Firmware, but I will try the latter and post if it worked.

Latest FW can play old Xvid files (v3.11) so if it is not your case, then #TRANSCODE# folder is your last option
