Postby biggranty » Mon Jun 22, 2009 3:51 pm

Hi, All im brand new to this and was wondering what is the max bit rate that the software will allow (pc spec depending) I have a tvix 6500a also and would get rid of it and get a second ps3 to use in another room if i felt i could match the bit rates or is it maxed at 15mb.
Any info would be appreciated ill be using it hard wired not wireless.

The Max Bitrate setting is used for you to describe the capabilities of your network, thereby setting boundaries on the output stream PMS will send out. Below are some example settings depending on type of network:
Wired gigabit = 0 (=unlimited).
Wired 100mbit connection = 90-95 mbps
Wireless-N = 50-80mbps
Wireless-G = 15mpbs

Note that for the wireless connections, especially Wifi-G, it'll be even lower if both devices are wireless instead of just one of them
I provide NO application support via PM or email, so please post your question to the forum per the Forum Rules.
