strange .flac song length error

I have a set of .flac files from a mono vinyl rip that play perfectly on my pc through foobar. When I play them through PS3MS, the song title displays the correct length below the title EXAMPLE DISPLAY {title.flac, (MPlayer Audio) 3:09, PCM), , but when actually playing the files they stop playing at the 1:20 to 1:39 point in the song. The odd thing is that the new truncated incorrect time is also what shows up on the progress bar (select button) during the song. So something is happening that makes the title display the time properly, but actually playing it recalculates the song length short, displays it that way and stops play at that point. This does not happen with all .flac files, just those from this set of vinyl rips. Any ideas?
