Best way to use PS3-PMS for music?

Postby Espo » Tue Jun 16, 2009 10:30 am

I cant find a good way for using PS3-PMS for mp3 music. I mean I cant add music on my computer and External Hard drive to playlist made on the PS3. And if I copy music to the PS3 they will be put i a lot of different maps (by album?) and not they why I would like them to be. And I tried to make a .pls playlist by winamp, but the PS3 dosen´t find this file either. So is there any good way to use PS3-PMS for music and be able to do good play lists?

Try creating .pls playlists using Playlist Creator (http://www.soft32.com/download_66536.html). The PS3 should be able to find them.

That's just a playlist creator. How does that address the issue?

PMS supports playlists, so you can have playlists on your shared folders with references to music on those folders.
On a MAC you can also use playlists in iTunes library.
On a PC, maybe soon, if I can get some time to do it...
