well... tried the release 339.. maybe it's even worse.
When lauched, the PSM can't find the PS3 (reverse is the same).
So, I let the two systems run;
Then after few minutes, the connection appears like magic.
(To be sure, I tried with the last release, in fact this is the same behavior).
I don't understand but it seems there is something that freeze something during a moment, periodicaly.
when a DNLA 2006 appears, I have to wait few minutes, then it works again;
when error 2006 appears and I stop PSM, I have to wait few minutes before the icone disapear from PS3.
error DNLA only appears when browsing directories, or viewing a movie that is not transcoded.
Don't know why, but if transcoded, the error never appreas (so, I fixe this by transcoding everything, but the directory navigation still be almost impossible).
Added : weird stuff, it seems it is the same if I reboot the PC :
I got the 2006 error, then I stop PSM, nothing happen on PS3 (ie the PSM was still displayed), so instead of wait, I decided to reboot de computer.
But during all the reboot, the PSM icone was still displayed on the PS3 !!
Is this normal ?
Have I an issue with my PS3, or my network ?
Btw, I'm using a FreeBox as router.
PS : I also tryed a new PSM.exe, with Java 64bits, but exact same behavior
