~/.mplayer/moviename.conf causes error

Postby nik.nicholson@sun » Sat Jun 06, 2009 4:04 pm

I have pms 1.10.5 on an intel PC with 1G memory running Ubuntu 8.10

I have used vobcopy to copy DVDs to hard disc.

Video stream is OK in all cases.

Sometimes audio stream is not english language. If I look at the vob file with mplayer -v audio channel 128 (The
english language audio stream is not at the top of the list. I have not altered the default PMS audio options so
en\\"en" is my default.

If I play the vob on the PC with no mplayer options, the English language audio channel is not played either.

I created a ~/.mplayer/<movieFileName>.conf file with the option "aid=128" as the only line in the file. Then
played the movie on the PC with no options on the mplayer command line. English language audio stream is
selected.

When I try to play the same movie file through pms:

English language audio stream is not selected

I Get the following message in the pms gui trace tab:
[pool-56-thread-3] TRACE 10:06:08.652 Error during the parsing of image with Sanselan... switching to Ffmpeg: [I cannot be cast to java.lang.Number

Has anyone else run into this or can comment on whether or not ~/.mplayer/<xxx>.conf is properly supported through
pms?
