Postby kruijf » Thu May 14, 2009 10:54 am

I'm using ubuntu 9.04 whith PMS every thing is working fine the only thing i cant find out is to get DTS sound in sync whit the video.
Yesterday i setup every thing and after a while i had the DTS in sync but now its out of sync again.
The file is a divx whit dts sound the details of the file are:
Video
Dimensions: 1280 x 720
Codec: XVID MPEG-4
Framerate: 24 frames per second
Bitrate: N/A

Sound:
Codec: DTS
Channels: Surround 5.1
Sample rate: 48000 Hz
Bitrate: 1536 kbps

I hope some one can tell the right settings.

I use the PMS as a sever so it stands always on when i want to watch the same file were i'm testing whit it is out of sync after a few ours that i dont use it.
When i shut down PMS and start the program again and i configure DTS again in PMS then DTS is in sync again.

Make sure your file does not have an audio delay. You can check this with mediainfo (there's a build for ubuntu I think). This is not supported
