My experience with the new 1.03 version.

Hey all,

First of all, I'd like to say that I am glad I came accross this application. By far, the best, most reliable and easy to use application out there. Thank you and keep up the good work.

I've been using this app since V1.00 and never had a problem until I upgraded from 1.02.1 to 1.03. The new version just doesn't seem to work for me at all. It keep on crashing my wireless router forcing it to reboot. I have no idea why it happens and hope that someone can suggest any kind of solution. It works fine for about 5 minutes and the crashes. It cant be related to my equipment or setting since once I uninstalled 1.03 and installed 1.02.1 once again, everything went back to normal and works 100%.

Any ideas ?

Hardware Info:
PS3 = Second generation PS3, 40GB, FW 2.6, Wired Connection
Router = Dlink WBR-2310 Rangebooster with the latest firmware and TKIP wireless security.
Laptop from which I stream = 2.0 Core 2 Duo, 4GB ram, Vista Ultimate, Wireless Connection

Hi!

First of all thanks for a great piece of software!

Secondly, I am also having troubles after upgrading to 1.03 from 1.02.1. mkv files (720p with x264) that I easily could stream using 1.02.1 are now stuttering all the time. This happens regardless if I'm using the new multicore support.

HW/SW specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750, 4 GB RAM (DDR2, PC2-6400), Gigabit ethernet, Win XP Pro SP 3

I didn't change much the networking code between those 2, so maybe it's better to send some debug.log file with the 2 versions in order to compare both
or open an issue on the code.google.com site

After a complete system restart, 1.03 seems to work fine. Again, thank you for your effort, shagrath!
