Video starts, but doesn't play as it should. Buffer Destroye

Postby weslleymh » Tue Mar 25, 2014 3:48 am

Hello, how are you?

Basically, I start a video file, it takes some seconds to load, and when it finally starts, it keeps pausing to buffer... pause for 10 seconds then plays half a second, repeat.

This started happening after upgrading from Windows XP to 7, both 32 bits.

I checked firewall, UPnP (OS and router), PS3 is in DMZ with PC.

The only thing that's changed is the OS, so maybe there is something tricky that I couldn't find. Searched for many similar "entries" but couldn't find anything related.

PC is an AMD A8-3870 with 4GB Ram, streaming to PS3 with latest official firmware. Again, it worked perfectly on Windows XP. Latest version of Java.

When trying to stream a music file, it takes a long time, more than one minute for PS3 to play it.

I tried a beta build, same problem.

Debug info: http://pastebin.com/hBUnjXQf

If more info is needed, please let me know.

Thank you for the time!

EDIT: This Destroying Buffer is strange, I don't remember it.

EDIT2: Wired connection.
EDIT3: While supposedly streaming, Bitrate keeps changing from 0 to 1, and Max achieved is 6.
EDIT4 (April 2nd): Managed to get a 6 years old notebook, really basic when it was bought, pretty outdated, onboard graphics, pentium dual core around 1,2Ghz, 4GB ddr2 ram, running windows XP. Same router as my main desktop, and it works flawlessly. Ok, so the problem is on windows 7 itself, is there anything I can do?

Of course I tried everything related, whether oficial or not, things that worked out or even steps people tried and didn't work for them, I tried too. I'm out of ideas. Thanks for the time reading this.

Bump, I'm still trying to fix my problem, and it's not on the first page anymore.

Bump... I tried this: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=17444

But the problem persists... It starts playing, stops, starts again, from ~8 to ~8 seconds, again and again.

Thanks for any help!
